Amazon Prime Video is adding two new French language dramas, The Bureau and Baron Noir, to its line-up later this month.

Produced by Federation Entertainment, TOP and Canal Plus, spy drama The Bureau stars Matthieu Kassovitz (Amelie, Munich) as a member of the clandestine branch of the French Secret Service who returns to his home base after a six-year mission in Damascus and struggles to let go of his false identity and illicit affair with a Syrian woman.

All 10 episodes of Season 1 of The Bureau, distributed globally by Federation Entertainment, will launch on 17th June, with Season 2’s 10 episodes launching on 26th August.

Baron Noir, directed by Ziad Doueiri (Pulp Fiction), is a suspenseful drama written and created by Eric Benzekri and Jean-Baptiste Delafon.

French politician Philippe Rickwaert, played by Kad Merad (22 Bullets), thirsts for revenge against his political enemies in a tale of epic scale.

Philippe’s political career is in shambles after he is double-crossed by the presidential candidate from the Left, Francis Laugier (Niels Arestrup – War Horse).

He must cultivate friendships and forge an alliance with his closest advisor, Amelie Doendeu (Anna Mouglalis – Anna) in order to save his election.

Amazon Prime members will be able to watch both shows using the Amazon Video app for smart TVs, connected devices including Fire TV, on mobiles or tablets, or online at www.Amazon.co.uk/primevideo
