Back in September we spoke to Roland Emmerich abut his upcoming, and VERY controversial drama Anonymous.
The film speculates on an issue that has for centuries intrigued academics and brilliant minds alike, namely: who actually created the body of work credited to William Shakespeare?
The film poses one possible answer, focusing on a time when scandalous political intrigue, illicit romances in the Royal Court, and the schemes of greedy nobles lusting for the power of the throne were brought to light in the most unlikely of places: the London stage.
After months of waiting, the film gets it’s UK premiere this week at the 55th BFI London Film Festival ahead of a UK-wide release on Friday (28th October)
Once you’ve enjoyed the trailer why not have another listen to August’s audio feature?
