Apple has introduced a new “entry level” model of its all-in-one iMac desktop computer.
The new 21.5-inch iMac features a 1.4 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost Speeds up to 2.7 GHz, Intel HD 5000 graphics, 8GB of memory and a 500GB hard drive.
As with other models, it also sports 802.11ac Wi-Fi, two Thunderbolt ports and four USB 3.0 ports.
On the software side, buyers get Apple’s iWork and iLife office and productivity software suits, allowing them to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, podcasts and movies.
Priced at £899, the new iMac is available to order from Apple’s online and retail stores.
