BT has confirmed that WiFi and 4G calling is now available to all customers with compatible handsets.
WiFi calling allows users to make and receive phone calls even in areas with poor and no signal without the need to install additional apps, simply by connecting their phone to a WiFi network.
The second feature, 4G calling, enables “crystal clear” voice calls over a compatible phone’s 4G connection.
Both features are already available on EE, the firm’s premium mobile brand, and are now available at no additional cost to BT Mobile users with an iPhone running iOS 11.3 or later or a compatible Android handset bought from BT.
