BT has confirmed that martial-arts drama Into the Badlands will get its broadcast premiere on Monday 10th October.
The martial arts drama will be shown on AMC, the US-themed drama channel which is exclusive to BT TV and BT Sport Pack subscribers on Sky.
Set in a future where a feudal society has developed and seven rival Barons enforce their will with the aid of trained assassins known as Clippers, the show focuses on Sunny (Daniel Wu), Head Clipper to the Badlands’ most powerful Baron, who rescues M.K. (Aramis Knight), during an ambush.
Together they embark on an odyssey that could mean the difference between chaos and enlightenment for everyone in the Badlands.
US audiences saw the series last November and the drama made its UK and German debut on Amazon Prime Video.
A second season has already been confirmed for 2017.
AMC is also set to air David Schwimmer’s latest drama series, Feed The Beast, next month and will debut Ridley Scott’s The Terror, an adaption of the bestselling novel by Dan Simmons, next year.
