Framed editions of 13 rare photos from the iconic Carry On film series are now available to buy from London and Los Angeles fine art publisher, Classic Stills.

Released to mark the 60th anniversary of Carry On Sergeant, the first film in the series, the images have been carefully chosen from ITV’s photo archives and feature the films’ most popular actors, including Kenneth Williams, Sid James, Joan Sims, Charles Hawtrey, Jim Dale, Hattie Jacques and Peter Butterworth.

100 individually-numbered, hand-framed prints of the 13 images are available for sale at £99 each. The images are developed using the chromogenic print (C-print) process and are printed on archival-quality photo paper.

Every print is framed by hand, comes with acid-free matting and hinging, and is protected by UV acrylic to prevent fading.

“This unique collection of fine art prints does something truly special – it makes you laugh,” said Classic Stills CEO, Rene Freling.

“It’s a fitting tribute to the boorish, bawdy and unashamedly British films that have always held a special place in the nation’s hearts.

“And like its humour, Carry On art is perfect for the British khazi.”
