Cashback and Reward Cards – The Smartest Ways To Save Money

If you’ve looked at moving insurance, utility, TV or broadband provider recently you’ll probably have noticed the growing trend to offer new customers financial incentives to make the switch.

Retailer Incentives
Big firms often offer direct incentives such as a branded MasterCard or Amazon gift card, or even a shiny new gadget in return for signing up to their service.

The value of the reward varies depending on the amount you’re willing to pay them each month, but some of the larger rewards can often cover several months’ subscriptions, reducing your overall bill over the life of the contract.

Deals we’ve spotted recently include a choice of either a Samsung Gear Sport Watch worth £179 or £150 bill credit for those signing up to Virgin Media’s biggest TV packages, a free 43-inch LG Ultra HD Smart TV for Sky customers signing up to the firm’s new Sky Q set top boxes, and a BT offer of a free tech gift (customers could choose between an Amazon Echo, JBL Bar Studio soundbar or Hive Smart Lights Pack) plus a Reward Card worth up to £70.

In addition to the perks above, some broadband providers will also cover the cost of you switching from a rival provider.

Cashback Sites
These sites list deals across a huge range of services and sectors and, when someone signs up via their link, get a commission from the provider which is then passed on to the customer.

Often the earnings from such sites can be ‘stacked’ with other promotions and benefits – such as those listed above – meaning cashback site users are often getting the best possible deal on the market.

Deals vary from week to week but we’ve seen offers of up to £165 cashback on certain TV and broadband bundles.

Because the number of cashback sites grows regularly, there’s fierce competition to offer the very best deals which is great news for shoppers.

The best sites are those which are free to join, offer a wide selection of shops and sites where you can earn money and have high cashback rates.

Cashback can be fun too!
Casino sites are a great example of this. If you like to play online, you could take advantage of Gambling deals, a site specialized in casino cashback. Here you find many gaming and casino sites which means there’s always some fabulous offers which could help you to earn money. So, if you win at the casino, it’s great. But if you lose, at least you can get some money back.

Using cashback in a casino removes some of the financial risk of gambling allowing you to relax and enjoy playing. As well as cashback you might have other rewards too such as free spins and x0 wagering requirements, giving you instant access to your bonus.

Cashback is a great way to earn money
While you won’t ever become a millionaire earning cashback – not unless you’re lucky at the virtual casino! – it can be a very useful way to cut the overall cost of your subscription, and even earn some extra money.
