Channel 4 has confirmed when it’ll be showing Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, the new TV series from Joss Whedon set in the world of Marvel’s hit Avengers Assemble and Iron Man film.
The series will air on Channel 4 and Channel 4 HD from Friday 27th September.
The series sees Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson who assembles a small, highly select group of Agents to investigate the new, the strange and the unknown from across the globe protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary.
Coulson’s team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton – “Blue Bloods”, “Army Wives”), highly trained in combat and espionage; Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen – “ER”, “Eureka”), expert pilot and martial artist; Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker – “The Fades”, “In Fear”), brilliant engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge – “Hollyoaks”, “Shelter”), genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker, Skye (Chloe Bennet – “Nashville”, “Intercept”).
