Channel 4 has revived classic quiz show Fifteen To One for a 24 episode run, including 4 celebrity specials hosted by Adam Hills.

Hills (pictured) previously fronted a one off special for C4’s 80s Night earlier this year.

The original show was presented and produced by William G. Stewart and ran between 1988–2003, clocking up 35 series and 2265 episodes.

The 20 non-celebrity editions will be hosted by comedian and broadcaster Sandi Toksvig.

The fast-paced, relentless battle to survive TV’s toughest general knowledge quiz see fifteen contestants start the game, but only one can win.

To do so they not only have to answer questions correctly, they must also decide which of their opponents to nominate to put under the question spotlight and it’s this tactical game play that makes Fifteen to One more than just a quiz.

Adam Hills said: “I am thrilled to be part of the ongoing institution that is Fifteen To One. The celebrity specials combine two of my favourite things – general knowledge questions, and the chance to watch well-known people try not to make dicks of themselves in public”

Sandi Toksvig added: “I’m thrilled to be taking up the mantle of hosting Fifteen To One. It is a legendary quiz show with tough questions. I’m glad I’ll be asking not answering. I’m also delighted to be back at Channel 4.”

Channel 4’s Madeleine Knight said: “We’re delighted to have such a beloved show back on Channel 4. Auditions are touring the country soon to find Britain’s smartest quiz minds to battle for the title of Fifteen To One champion.”
