The BBC is making some of its biggest comedy hits, including Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s celeb-packed Extras, The League of Gentlemen and Citizen Khan, available for free on iPlayer.
All five series of Citizen Khan, all nine series of classic hangout comedy Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, the entire run of Extras, every episode of cult hit comedy The League of Gentlemen, including the critically acclaimed anniversary specials, and all three series and Christmas specials of Miranda will be available.
The new additions will join a host of comedy box sets already available to watch, including Fleabag, This Country, Gavin and Stacey, and Famalam.
Shane Allen, controller of comedy commissioning for the BBC, says: “This selection of classic and contemporary shows is testament that great comedy lasts forever.”
