Discovery and Sky extend advertising sales deal

Discovery Networks has appointed Sky’s media division as sole advertising and sponsorship sales agent for its portfolio of 11 factual and entertainment UK and Irish TV channels.

The deal, which begins with immediate effect, includes advertising, sponsorship and video on demand for the portfolio which includes Discovery Channel, TLC, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet and Quest.

Distribution rights for the channels are not part of the deal.
