Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular gets UK tour

The “hugely popular” Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular is getting 12 UK performances following a successful run in Australia.

UK fans will be able to enjoy the show, which combines live music, in-arena appearances by the show’s various foes and monsters and clips from the series in London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle and Glasgow.  

Conducted by Ben Foster, the show features over 100 performers including members of the BBC National Chorus of Wales and the UK tour will include Murray Gold’s music from the forthcoming series 8.

Tickets will go on general sale via the event and box office websites at 9am on Friday 1 August 2014, 2014, with prices starting at £20 per person.
