Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor airtime confirmed

The BBC has confirmed the airtime for the Doctor Who 50th anniversary adventure, The Day of the Doctor.

The 75 minute adventure will be shown on November 23rd and teams 10th Doctor David Tennant with current incarnation Matt Smith and John Hurt as a mysterious former Doctor.

It also sees the return of Bille Piper who joins current companion Jenna-Louise Coleman, plus shape-shifting monsters the Zygons and the Doctor’s most infamous foes, the Daleks.

The broadcaster has today confirmed the special episode will air at 7.50pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.

It will also be shown in 3D at selected cinemas.
