EE has added two new swappable benefits – Amazon Prime Video and a Gamer’s Data Pass – to its recently launched Smart Plans.
The plans allow customers to pick from a bundle monthly passes that allow them to stream music, video from and other services or watch BT Sport, with usage not counting against their tariff’s data allowance.
All Smart Plan customers get access to at least one swappable benefit and can choose to purchase any of the benefits as an extra monthly addition should they so wish, and can swap their benefits to suit changing needs online or via the My EE app.
Today’s additions means customers can now watch original Amazon series such as The Grand Tour, The Boys, Hanna or The Marvelous Mrs Maisel or play games such as Pokémon Go, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, FIFA Mobile, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, as well as when streaming on Twitch, without reducing the amount of data they have left for the month.
Edward Goff, Marketing Director at EE, said: “Our Smart Plans have been a real hit with our 4G and 5G customers – providing them with the most flexible and personal mobile plans in the UK.
“Now we’re making these plans even better by working with a number of the world’s best entertainment providers to ensure customers can enjoy the content they love in more places when on the move.”
