Sky’s NOW TV streaming service is now available on EE’s broadband and aerial hybrid TV platform.
Now TV offers contract-free access to Sky’s movie, sports and entertainment channels and dozens of TV boxsets.
It’s arrival on EE TV brings the platform its first truly premium content partner and is likely to significantly bolster its attractiveness to users.
Pippa Dunn, Chief Marketing Officer, EE TV, said: “We’ve developed the EE TV service so that exciting new content and services can be regularly added to enhance our customers home TV viewing experiences.
“The NOW TV app is a great addition to our current content line up – providing customers with opportunities to watch some of the world’s most popular TV series, live sports action and internaal movie blockbusters.“
Gidon Katz, Director of NOW TV commented: “With Game of Thrones, the world’s most talked about show available to watch from the very beginning, there couldn’t be a better time for EE TV customers to enjoy NOW TV.
“Whether you’re a film fan and want access to Sky Movies or want to watch the biggest games on Sky Sports, its great news for TV fans as NOW TV offers something for everyone.”
There’s been much speculation about the future of EE TV since it was announced that the firm is to be bought by BT which uses the rival YouView platform for its TV service.
Unlike on EE TV, the YouView version of NOW TV is unable to support live channels and is limited to offering Sky Movies On Demand.
