Mobile network EE is extending its smartphone delivery and set up service to nine additional cities following a successful launch in London.
Provided in partnership with Enjoy, the free service allows customers upgrading or taking out a new smartphone plan to have their device delivered to an address of their choice and set up for them, including activating the SIM and transferring data and apps.
The service has been expanded across the entirety of London, and from today will roll out in Birmingham and Manchester, before being extended to Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham and Sheffield, by the end of the year.
EE says it aims to offer the service to 80% of the UK population in 2020.
Ettienne Brandt, Managing Director of Commercial, BT’s Consumer Division said: “We’re extending the EE superfast, super-flexible delivery and expert set-up service across the UK, helping as many customers as possible get the very most from their latest smartphone’s features.
“It will also now be an option across the entire range of 5G and 4G pay monthly smartphones we offer – so customers can receive their great new smartphone of choice at a time and place that is most convenient to them, all ok the UK’s best network”.
