Street racing franchise Fast & Furious brings its high-speed jinks to London for this sixth instalment.
Series regulars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Elsa Pataky are all back.
When a gang of car-based mercenaries start robbing military targets, the authorities enlist the help of Dom and Brian’s crew to track them down.
The scene is set for a series of big, impressive chases and stunts carried out against the backdrop of London landmarks and inked together by some ropey dialogue and a threadbare plot.
At times the daftness levels get too great to ignore – for example, street racing past Government buildings and MI-5’s Thames House doubling for downtown Russia – but F&F6 is a fun way to pass a couple of hours.
