FremantleMedia has today announced a series of free-to-air TV sales for its critically acclaimed new series of Danger Mouse.

The deals will see the series air on ABC in Australia, Channel 4 in New Zealand, the Lagardere channels in France, RTE in Ireland and MBC in the Middle East and are in addition to the multi-territory deal signed with Netflix last year.

First airing on CBBC in the UK, the series was widely acclaimed when it returned the world’s greatest secret agent to screens after a 23-year absence.

Joss Duffield, VP Global Distribution FMK said: “Danger Mouse’s mission was to thrill a whole new generation of viewers and we’re delighted that he’s not only doing that in the UK but is also set to make a much-anticipated comeback on the global stage too.

“These deals with prestigious, free-to-air partners show that the high action, high comedy adventures of this quintessentially British character and his allies and adversaries are really striking a chord with audiences across the world.”
