Future announces new iPad edition of Tap!

Future Publishing has unveiled a new a monthly iPad edition of Tap! The iPhone and iPad magazine – built from the ground up exclusively for the iPad.

The company promises readers “a rich, intuitive and easy-to-navigate reading experience that makes the most of the iPad’s revolutionary features.”

Game reviews feature will include “high-quality” and recommended apps can be downloaded from the App Store by clocking a link within the magazine. Text can be resized, selected, bookmarked and shared with social media, and even read aloud by the iPad.

Each edition will be available from the App Store on the same day the print and Zinio editions go on sale, beginning 29th September.

Christopher Phin, Editor of Tap! says: “We wanted to create a magazine that took advantage of all the iPad’s amazing features and the new Tap! iPad edition does just that.”

Charlotte Morgan, Publisher of Future’s Technology portfolio, says: “Having recently won Consumer Digital Publisher of the Year at the AOP Awards, we knew Future’s next creation had to be truly special.

“The success of Tap!, which launched less than a year ago, gave us a clear opportunity to take the brand and content, and develop something absolutely core to the iPad medium.”

Tap! The iPhone and iPad magazine’s iPad edition launches on the Apple Store on 29th September priced at £2.99 for a single issue. Subscriptions are available on tiers ranging from £7.99 to £23.99.
