UK gaming retailer GAME says it will receive “thousands” of new Xbox One consoles in stores over the next few days.
The latest version of Microsoft’s popular home entertainment sold out across the UK within hours of going on sale last month.
In addition to games such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, the Xbox One allows owners to enjoy Blu-ray films and Video on Demand content including 4oD, Demand 5, Netflix, Lovefilm, Blinkbox and Now TV.
Microsoft says it is “working around the clock to re-stock” retailers.
GAME says it’s “worked closely” with the tech giant to secure more stock for customers.
A spokesperson said the pair have “arranged for thousands of extra Xbox One consoles to arrive in GAMEs stores in the next few days, from today, meaning that gamers will still be able to get their hands on a console for Christmas.”
