The complete second season of Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom is heading to DVD and Blu-ray in time to make an excellent Christmas stocking filler.
The series, which airs in the UK on Sky Atlantic, stars Jeff Daniels as network anchor Will McAvoy and Emily Mortimer as his executive producer, Mackenzie McHale.
Season two continues to focus on a major piece of news, but there’s also a series-long storyline dealing with a piece of misreporting from Will and his team, with the potential to decimate the entire channel and its staff.
Other cast members include Dev Patel, Alison Pill, Olivia Munn, Sam Waterston and Jane Fonda.
The Newsroom: The Complete Second Season will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on 27th October 2014 courtesy of HBO Home Entertainment.
