BT Vision, the on-demand tv service from BT, has struck a new content agreement with NBC Universal International Television Distribution which will see shows such as Heroes and Bionic Woman join the platform.

The US version of The Office and House are among the first shows to become available under the agreement with new titles expected in the coming weeks.

Shows will be available at no extra charge to subscribers of the TV Pack on or a per-episode basis to those without the pack.

Marc Watson, chief executive of BT Vision, said: “We are delighted to sign a deal with NBC Universal, so that we can offer some of the most successful US drama series all in one place and available for TV pack customers to watch whenever they want.”

The service has recently revised downwards expected subscriber numbers but posts on its own forums suggest strong brand loyalty amongst current, tech-savvy subscribers.
