A new hardback book exploring the big screen adaptations of Stephen King’s novels will be published on September 5th.
No single author has been adapted more regularly than Stephen King. There are sixty-five existing movies, thirty television shows, and seven individual episodes (of multi-author anthology shows like The Twilight Zone) based on his work.
Written by Empire executive editor Ian Nathan, Stephen King: At The Movies spans 40 years of King adaptations starting with 1976’s Carrie and coming right up to date with 2019’s It Chapter 2 and is illustrated with more than 200 essential images, including unseen behind-the-scenes stills.
The book is published in Hardback by Palazzo on September 5th.
