iGamer relaunched as interactive title

December 6, 2012 - Staff@seenituk

Consumer magazine publishers Future have relaunch their iGamer title as a global interactive monthly iPad magazine.

Now available through Apple’s Newsstand, iGamer is a monthly guide to the very best games on the App Store.

The relaunch issue is free for a limited time and includes the best 15 new games from last month’s releases, the top 50 games iGamer would recommend to anyone and interviews with Rovio, Activision and Punch Quest developer Madgarden.

Neil Long, Special Projects Editor for Future, says: “iGamer has been relaunched to address and acknowledge this exciting new breed of video game. iGamer’s editorial is direct and upfront to enable consumers to make informed decisions about which games to download.

“Every month iGamer will feature the best 15 new games from the previous month’s releases and will allow readers to view screenshot galleries, watch gameplay footage and also download the games themselves with a simple tap of a finger.”

Rich Keith, Publisher of iGamer, says: “As the games business model continues to evolve, we see the role of mobile and tablet gaming becoming extremely important and the relaunch of iGamer represents part of a wider strategy to engage with this really exciting sector.”
