Jamie Lee Curtis is returning to classic horror franchise Halloween “one last time”.
The actress is set to reprise her role as Laurie Strode in a new instalment which will be released on October 19th 2018.
In February franchise creator John Carpenter confirmed that Pineapple Express director David Gordon Green and Danny McBride would co-write the movie.
Curtis confirmed her involvement on Friday evening when she tweeted a picture of her on set, alongside the message:
“Same porch. Same clothes. Same issues. 40 years later. Headed back to Haddonfield one last time for Halloween. Release date 10/19/18.”
The actress appeared in the original 1978 film and its sequel and returned as Laurie in 1998’s Halloween H20: 20 Years Later before apparently being killed off four years later in Halloween: Resurrection.
