Jeff Wayne’s War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience gets extended run

June 26, 2019 - Staff@seenituk

The audience are plunged into an explosive VR naval battle, where the fight for survival between HMS Thunderchild and the Martians ensues.

Jeff Wayne’s War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience has been extended until 13th November 2019, with organisers dotdotdot crediting the move to greater than expected demand.

The 110-minute immersive experience opened last month and combines Wayne’s Musical Version, immersive theatre, virtual reality, augmented reality, holograms and other cutting-edge technology giving audiences the chance to survive the Martian invasion of 1898.

Andrew McGuinness, CEO of dotdotdot said: “We’ve been bowled over with the demand for the experience. The combination of great actors, physical challenges and technology provide a really memorable night out – something that’s completely different.

“Groups – whether from work or a bunch of mates – seem to especially love it. We’re delighted to be able to offer more dates so that more people have the chance to enjoy this unique experience and to witness first hand the Martian Invasion of 1898”

Event location: Jeff Wayne’s The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience, 56 Leadenhall Street
