Jeremy Clarkson’s The Grand Tour is now available to watch on Virgin Trains

A selection of original Prime Video shows, including Jeremy Clarkson’s The Grand Tour, are coming to Virgin Trains as part of an update to the transport firm’s on-board entertainment service.

Other Amazon shows arriving on Beam include Bosch and the multi-award winning The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. All content can be streamed to the passenger’s mobile, tablet or laptop via the onboard Wi-Fi.

Roger Matthews, Managing Director at GoMedia, says: “We helped launch Beam with Virgin Trains almost three years ago.

“Virgin Trains service has since evolved to allow passengers to access content with and without an app. It is great that Virgin will be bringing these Amazon Originals to Beam, alongside a new customer interface which we worked with Virgin to deliver.

“Personally, I can’t wait to watch Goliath starring Billy Bob Thornton on my next journey up to Manchester.”

Adrian Varma, Head of Customer Proposition, at Virgin Trains comments: “Our customers are a big deal to us, and we provide the best on-board experience across the industry, we have been working with GoMedia to develop our new customer interface to make the experience even more enjoyable.

“As part of this we’re working with Amazon to bring some of their best Amazon Original programming, across TV shows and documentaries, combined with an amazing selection of films, TV, games, newspapers and magazines, to keep our customers entertained on their journey.”
