Kia and Revoo want YOUR reviews

February 14, 2013 - Staff@seenituk

PicantoCityWhether they be about films, apps, Blu-rays or mobile phones, we like writing reviews here at seenit.co.uk.

As you might know, Kia was named Car Manufacturer of the Year 2012 by Which? and has now teamed up with reviews website Reevoo to allow Kia car owners to send it their own, honest, experience-based reviews.

The company is hoping that this real-user feedback will help and interest both Kia owners looking to upgrade their car and newcomers looking to make their first purchase.

We think that’s a pretty ballsy move – Reevoo has a policy of showing the good and the bad reviews and not allowing partner companies to spin, remove or finesse the negative ones.

Instead brands displaying the reviews on their sites are encouraged to engage with customers and address any concerns or complaints they might have.

We always think reviews work best when even gripes are expressed constructively – it’s better to explain why you thought something was bad or disappointing rather than just dismiss it as ‘crap’.

Not only does that make your opinion seemed like a considered assessment, it also allows other buyers to consider whether the thing you disliked is something they’d care about.

Everyone likes different things!

Pop along to the Kia website and take a look and if you’re already a Kia owner why not have your say?

Or, if you’re in the market for a new car, why not read the reviews and vote for the one(s) you find most helpful?
