Legoland adds free WiFi to resort’s attractions

July 24, 2014 - Staff@seenituk

legoland_EndorLegoland has teamed up with The Cloud to offer free WiFi throughout the resort, allowing visitors to share their experience on social media throughout the day.

Connecting the park will also enable guests to reserve their place in the queue for busy attractions whilst enjoying other rides and get the most from a free Legoland app which includes an interactive map and exclusive offers.

“We want to make sure everyone who visits the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has a fantastic time with us. We offer a unique LEGO experience for families with children aged 2 -12; it really is where the LEGO brick comes to life!” explained Mark Anderson, Head of Marketing at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.

“Being connected is all part of this, with new technologies like Q-Bot changing the way visitors queue. Our guests also like to interact with us throughout the day while they’re in the theme park, especially sharing photos and videos and using our mobile app.

“It’s great to see Merlin Entertainments plc extending WiFi connectivity over more of its sites,” said Vince Russell, MD, The Cloud.

“For LEGOLAND Windsor the benefits of the WiFi are especially clear given its multitude of online services – such as the app, the photo service provided by Picsolve and the Q-bot queuing system. All of these work perfectly over the WiFi.”
