Lois Maxwell who played the original Miss Moneypenny in the the James Bond films has died in Western Australia aged 80.
The actress first appeared in ‘Dr No’ alongside Seam Connery, last appearing in the 1985 adventure ‘A View To A Kill’ with Roger Moore with whom she appeared in two episodes of The Saint.
As well as the Bond movies Ms Maxwell appeared in a number of TV shows and movies over a career lasting more than 50 years. Her last appearance was in the 2001 movie The Fourth Angel.
