Series two of hit US drama Pretty Little Liars is currently receiving its UK premiere on MTV.

The first series introduced us to four friends – Aria, Hanna, Spencer and Emily – dealing with the aftermath of their best friend Alison’s mysterious disappearance and death.

The group hoped their secrets were buried with their friend, but quickly discovered that nothing stays hidden forever when they began to receive threatening text messages from someone named “A”…

Fans can expect even more surprises and challenges in the current run.

With Ian missing, neither the police or the girls’ parents seem to believe their story. Concerned for their daughters, the girls’ parents send them to a therapist together, who recommends them to spend some time apart. With their strong bond broken, will “A” finally succeed in their quest to exposure the Pretty Little Liars?

MTV, Wednesdays at 10pm.
