Users can browse three thousand entries for episodes, characters, places and objects and see the connections that link them together.
Fans can also buy add-on packs covering the 9th and 10th Doctors via in-app purchases.
The encyclopedia is based on the BBC Books Doctor Who Encyclopedia by Who writer and script editor Gary Russell.
