New electronic cigarette advert to run on TV

January 29, 2013 - Staff@seenituk

e-litese200As Waterloo Road’s Mr Chalk, Mark Benton can normally be found confiscating drink, swag and fags from the pupils of BBC One’s troublesome school.

Now he’s fronting up a new advertising campaign for E-lites – electronic cigarettes which provide smokers the opportunity not to miss out on important moments as they no longer have to go outside while having a cigarette.

The ad – below – is set to run on ITV, Channel 5 and Sky, as well as in print and online publications and will be the first for a smoking related product to run on TV since 1965.

Trevor Field, marketing director at E-Lites, recently told the Guardian that the company seeks to “offer a harm-reducing alternative and we know that we can give smokers a healthier, cheaper and more socially acceptable option to tobacco cigarettes.”
