New series reveals truth behind giants of history

A new documentary series looking at the truth behind the legends surrounding iconic historical figures including Alexander the Great, Attila the Hun and Cleopatra starts on HISTORY next week.

Ancients Behaving Badly delves into the lives of the men and women who built and burnt whole civilisations and in doing secured their place in the history books.

The how uncovers shocking insights into their lives and uses cutting edge research to rebuild and unleash the devastating war machines that helped the ancients rule their kingdoms with an iron fist.

Away from the battlefields, expert psychiatrists will explore the motivation for the minds that decided the fates of millions. With this evidence it is possible to finally understand how the ancients used and abused their power.
