Amazon have released a new US TV ad highlighting the online retailer’s non-glare Kindle with Apple’s highly reflective iPad.
The two devices are increasingly being seen as the likely dominant ereaders and Amazon is keen to promote the perceived benefits of the dedicated reader’s e-ink screen over the all purpose, glossy iPad screen.
The ad follows the unveiling of two new Kindle models and the international roll-out of Kindle stores and the ability to buy the devices from local Amazon sites outside the US – including from the UK site.
