Sky and Sony have signed a deal to bring the broadcaster’s popular Now TV and Sky Go streaming services to the PlayStation 4.
Now TV, which offers contract-free access to Sky One, Sky Atlantic and Sky Arts, will be available “from this summer” while the Sky Go mobile TV service will follow later this year.
Gidon Katz, Director of Now TV, commented: “We added support for PlayStation 3 last year and are pleased to be able to support PlayStation 4 this summer.
“Now TV customers will have yet another way of streaming award-winning shows, movies and sports to their main TV screen.”
Fergal Gara, Vice President and Managing Director for Sony Computer Entertainment UK added: “NOW TV has been a great addition to the PlayStation 3 entertainment portfolio, so bringing it to the new PS4 is going to delight all users of the newest, most powerful member of the PlayStation family.
“Sky Go joining both PlayStation platforms further enhances our credentials as the ultimate gaming and entertainment package.”
