The third series of BBC One sitcom Outnumbered is now available on BBC DVD from 2entertain. Alongside the six episodes are three extras – The Making of Series Three, The Real Outnumbered and Sport Relief Special
The Making of Series Three is a 25 minute fetter which includes interviews with series writer/directors Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton and leads Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner who share anecdotes from the making of each episode including the difficulties of filming in London in a ‘health and safety’ world.
The Real Outnumbered is an eight minute tongue-in-cheek run through the obvious and predictable questions the show makers always get asked.
Finally there’s a three-minute Sport Relief sketch listing ways the family might help BBC Sport Relief.
As with all TV shows which have got past their second series, by now you’re either a fan – in which case this is for you – or you’re not, in which case there’s likely to be much of interest for you here.
