US-based Outskirts Press has announced a new package to help independent and self-publishing authors sell their books through Apple’s iBooks store.
The company says the package allows titles to be published for Apple’s iPad and iPhone “at an affordable upfront cost” at a time when some estimates suggest Apple iBooks now accounts for up to 20 percent of US ebook sales.
Authors can earn a “guaranteed” royalty of $4.00 per sale on books sold at the standard iBookstore retail price of $9.99.
An Apple iPad/iPhone Edition is a great way for authors to offer their book to a whole new audience of potential readers.
Authors who have already published elsewhere or who only want to publish a digital edition can take advantage of the Apple iPad/iPhone Premium Edition.
