Academy Award winner Ron Howard returns to direct the latest bestseller in Dan Brown’s (Da Vinci Code) billion-dollar Robert Langdon series, Inferno.
The film sees Tom Hanks reprise his role as Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon alongside The Theory of Everything’s Felicity Jones and Slumdog Millionaire’s Irrfan Khan.
When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks, a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories and prevent a madman from releasing a global plague connected to Dante’s “Inferno.”
The film also stars French actor Omar Sy and Sidse Babett Knudsen, star of the Danish television series “Borgen,” as World Health Organization boss, Dr. Elizabeth Sinskey.
