Rupert Grint’s and Luke Pasqualino’s crime drama Snatch is coming to BT’s AMC channel

Harry Potter star Rupert Grint is coming to BT TV in October after the broadcaster snapped up the rights to crime series Snatch for its exclusive drama channel, AMC.

Based loosely on the popular Guy Ritchie movie of the same name, the drama centres on a group of twenty-something, up-and-coming hustlers who stumble upon a truck load of stolen gold bullion and are suddenly thrust into the high stakes world of organised crime.

They must quickly learn to navigate the treacherous waters of London’s underworld as rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend.

Co-starring alongside Grint are Marc Warren, Luke Pasqualino (Skins, The Musketeers), Dougray Scott (Desperate Housewives, My Week with Marilyn) and Juliet Aubrey (Iris, The White Queen).

The series was critically acclaimed when it recently premiered in the US on Sony’s streaming service, Crackle, with Variety calling it “a punchy adventurous show” and praising its “young and talented cast”.

The 10-episode original series will premiere on AMC in the UK on 31st October at 10pm and the full box set will be available on demand to BT TV customers after the premiere.

The show joins AMC other big name dramas Fear the Walking Dead and The Son, its multi-generational western starring Pierce Brosnan.

AMC is free to BT TV customers on channel number 332, and to BT Sport Pack subscribers on Sky channel 192.  AMC is also available in HD on both BT TV and Sky with an HD subscription.
