Sky announces a revamp of its mobile data plans

September 12, 2017 - Staff@seenituk

Sky Mobile is revamping its data plans from this week, lowering the cost of its existing 5GB plan from £20 to £15 a month and introducing a new 10GB plan for £20 a month.

The firm says the revamp is aimed at giving customers “more data at no extra cost” and adds that its new plan and prices will be available on all phones on Swap24 and Swap12 contracts, including newly launched devices, as well as SIM only plans.

Both new and existing customers will be able to choose the new plans from 15 September, with customers on existing £15 (3GB) or £20-per-month (5GB) plans able to easily change their Mix to the amount of data that’s right for them.

Liz Wynn, Sky’s Director of Mobile, said: “We launched Sky Mobile to offer more flexibility and great value – and that’s exactly what we’re doing by introducing our new data plan.

“10GB is ideal for people who want to use their phone to do it all – from streaming, browsing and watching to gaming.

“September is an important month for our customers who want to get their hands on the latest phones, and we’re excited to now give them even more choice and value.”
