Second foreign language deal for GoSpoken.com

GoSpoken.com, the firm which distributes ebooks to mobile phone users, has reached a deal to distribute French language titles from Harlequin, the Mills & Boon equivalent in France.

The company will distribute editions Harlequin’s eBook catalogue on GoSpoken.com and across partners’ app stores making French language titles available to users of Blackberry, Nokia and Sony Ericsson handsets. The deal follows a similar agreement with Verlagsgruppe Random House (Germany).

The first title to be released will be le secret du Bayou by New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts.

Gwen Delhumeau, Business Development Manager for Mobcast commented: “Following the success of our partnership with Mills & Boon in the UK we know romance novels are extremely popular on personal devices like mobile phones. It was an obvious choice to select worldwide bestselling author Nora Roberts (300 million books sold worldwide in over 20 languages) for the first French eBook of our catalogue.”
