Siri helps iPhone 4S dominate US iPhone sales

Siri has helped sales of the iPhone 4S
Sales of Apple’s iPhones in the US are dominated by the new iPhone 4S, despite the company offering two cheaper models.

US tech site All Things Digital reports on a recent consumer survey by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) which measures sales of the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS handsets.

According to the survey, US consumers have been wowed by Siri, the talkative personal assistant exclusive to the iPhone 4S.

The handset accounts for “89 percent of iPhone sales since its debut, while the iPhone 4 and 3GS accounted for 7 percent and 4 percent, respectively.”
