Football fans lucky enough to unwrap a shiny new Xbox One this Christmas will want to grab themselves a copy of FIFA 15 to play on their console.
This latest edition of EA Games’ football franchise is packed with new features aimed at making your matches even more realistic, including more visible emotion from players, improved commentary and even crowd chants and behaviours relevant to your chosen club.
EA’s developers have also worked to improve goalkeeper AI and movement and have beefed up team performance so that players now recognise what’s happening on pitch and adjust their own tactics accordingly.
Visually the game looks better than ever thanks to the Xbox One’s improved ‘next-generation’ graphics, with players’ kits now showing mud splatters and grass stains and the pitch becoming increasingly dirtied up by boot marks and slide tackles as the game progresses.
For the first time ever the game is fully licensed by the Premier League, allowing EA to include all 20 stadiums, including Emirates, Old Trafford, White Hart Lane and Wembley.
The deal means more than 200 players from the 2013/14 Premier League teams are present and correct and also allows the inclusion of real-life referees, and official Premier League scoreboards and advertising hoardings on the Xbox One edition.
In addition, EA has included real-life cheers and chants recorded at Barclays Premier League matches, giving accurate sounding reactions to goals, fouls, wins and losses.
