Amazon has revealed the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated return of Patrick Stewart’s Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: Picard, coming exclusively to Prime Video later this year.
The new series will follow Stewart’s iconic character into the next chapter of his life.
It will also star Alison Pill (The Newsroom), Michelle Hurd (Blindspot), Evan Evagora (Secret City), Isa Briones (Takers), Santiago Cabrera (Salvation), and Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful).
Star Trek: Picard will stream on Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. In the United States, the series will be available exclusively on CBS All Access, and in Canada on Bell Media’s cable networks, Space and Z, and OTT service Crave.
The series is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman (Sleepy Hollow, Michael Chabon (John Carter), Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind), James Duff (The Closer), Stewart, Heather Kadin (Salvation), Rod Roddenberry (Earth: Final Conflict) and Trevor Roth (Star Trek: Discover) serve as executive producers and and Aaron Baiers (Secret Hideout) will serve as co-executive producer and Kirsten Beyer (Star Trek: Discovery) as supervising producer. Hanelle Culpepper ( A Single Rose) will direct the first two episodes of the series.
