Finally Disney and Lucasfilm have put us out of our misery and confirmed the presence of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill in the new Star Wars film.
The trio are being joined by Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new as C3P0, Chewbacca and R2D2 respectively and a host of newcomers to the franchise.
But there was one face we might have hoped to see missing from the list – Billy Dee Williams who played Han Solo’s occasional ally Lando Calrissian in Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
The actor recently made a brief voice cameo as Lando in The Lego Movie – is it too late for him to be added to Episode VII cast?
And what about Obi-Wan? Has Luke finally stopped seeing visions of his old Jedi Master or might CGI magic allow Alec Guinness to make an appearance?
