The film marks the return of Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker alongside fellow saga veteran Carrie Fisher and newcomers Daisy Ridley as Rey and John Boyega as Finn.
It’s scheduled for release December 15, 2017, written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski.
