The Dark Knight Rises to play at Science Museum’s IMAX theatre

Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises is to be screened at the Science Museum’s IMAX theatre from Friday 20th July.

The film will screen alongside the museums usual documentary features for one month only.

The film sees Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman reprise their roles from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight whcih it’s set eight years after.

It also introduces the characters of Selina Kyle and Bane—portrayed by Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy.

“This is great news,” said Jonathon Gluck, the Science Museum’s Head of Visitor Experience, “visitors can now see the film as Christopher Nolan intended.”
