The rise of online printing

August 10, 2018 - Staff@seenituk

The news recently dropped that Apple intends to close its in house printing service. However this won’t be much news to anyone who has been tracking the rise of online printing.

Online printing firms such as helloprint.co.uk, among many others, have been enjoying a continued spell of growth, which spells difficult times ahead for brick and mortar base printers who simply can’t keep up with the changing requirements of the marketplace.

With that in mind, let’s discuss some of the reasons online printers have been enjoying continued spells of growth over the last few years.

Products offered at cheaper price
The traditional brick and mortar printer will have a number of costs they need to cover to keep those premises going, and it’s traditional for businesses to recoup those costs via their customers through increased pricing. With an online printer however, there’s no shop front to maintain.

This means the essential printing and admin costs can be covered in a much lower price, and paying less for high quality products is always going to attract customers. Also consider the fact that you can often get a sample printed ahead of time to make sure you know exactly what you’re going to get, it also takes the risk of wasting money out of the buying equation.

Ordering online is easier
Many people just don’t have the time in the day to get things printed, particularly if they want something customised. Finding a parking space and sacrificing the thirty minutes or so necessary to make the trip can seem like a tall ask in a busy day. With an online printer however, you do it where and when you want.

You can do it in your lunch break while sat at your desk, or you can do it at home from the comfort of your favourite chair. Everything is designed around your convenience. All of your options are laid out for you in easy to navigate sections, making it simple to design your own custom printed products before checking out.

Working with an online printer is faster
Online printing firms value efficiency, so if your time is valuable you’re going to waste much less of it choosing an online printing firm. From first navigation to the website to final delivery at your door, the process is quicker and simpler.

There has been no sacrifice however to the variety of options you have available to you, which makes online printing the perfect choice for personal or professional requirements.
