Russell Howard’s twice extended and critically-acclaimed stand-up show Dingledodies is to be shown on BBC Three and BBC Two later this month, having been recorded during the sell-out 2009 run.

Premiering on BBC Three on 16th December, the gig will also be screened on BBC Two, on December 21st.

Packed with Howard’s usual mix of eloquent gags and deft storytelling, Dingledodies sees the comedien share his observations on life’s big issues: ladies on trains, time travel, teenage parties, Charles Darwin, bags for life, awkward sex, wolf masks, and dressing up dogs.

Howard, a favourite with BBC Three audiences thanks to his series Russell Howard’s Good News, also stars on Mock The Week. Two further series of ‘Good News’ have been commissioned for 2011 and will air in the Spring and Autumn.
